Pre-season; 6-0-0
Another double header weekend in the books and another brace of wins from the home side, as they easily shrugged off a resurgent and organised Glasgow Clan.
The main talking point from the weekends clash was just how good some of these new guys are and that early impressions have enraptured the fanbase with excitement.

The most notable is Ryan Barrow, who collected some brilliant goals, with very clever play in front of the net, something each fan craved during the last couple seasons.
His work rate is second to none, instinctively keeping pressure on opposing puck carriers and draws in players to make open space in the mid slot area.
He set up Tyler Busch for a beaut of a goal on Saturday nights 4-2 win, a game that could have been a lot more harsh on the score board if not for a pre-scouted Jake Kielly (https://twitter.com/hockeysteve8719/status/1671590131734650910?s=20).
Goals came from all over the ice and across the lines, another player hot on the lips and thumbs is Jamie Arniel, getting two goals over the weekend, the best being an awesome one-T from the point to round off the win for game one.
Top 6 goals – 5
Bottom 6 goals – 3
D-goals – 2
The depth came out to show what they can do, creating the headache all coaches want, with Bayley Harewood skating for fun against Clan on Sunday, absolutely putting Cody Sol in his pocket.
Although improvements could be made to retain focus and zone control, particularly off the puck, the overall puck possession and carrying into the OZ with shot generation, has been a positive facet to the standards Coach Russell has been setting.
This paid off with 80 SOG this weekend and lots of points taken in the process.
The penalties did slow some momentum, which would be something to fine tune going into the next weekend of pre-season action, vs the unflattering small village of Nottingham, Sheffield Steelers.
