This has been a journey that started in response to a typical social media opinion-fest over whether certain goalies were good enough after a particular game.

Utilising threads to set out numbers, breaking them down and putting the data out there, it quickly drew some traction and became a go too source for pre-game build ups, post-game reviews and fillers in between game weeks.

This morphed into what I have now, reusing an old blog for creativity during lockdown and I haven’t looked back.

The purpose is to continue providing updates, statistics, insights, breakdowns and drive conversation, interest and become a helpful addition to the growth of the best sport on earth, ice hockey.

This is of course all from the perspective of being a Cardiff Devils fan, however, joining a new EIHL podcast, EIHL Face-Off, this has become a passion project turned into reality and hopefully more opportunities will continue going forward.

I really appreciate everyone’s feedback so far, the die hard readership, those who share the content and engage with it, you are truly amazing.

Moving forward, I have begun some further projects such as Player Stat Cards, building up a database for confirmed stats and further articles on other sources such as Chasing The Puck have now begun to be migrated here permanently.

I am considering a Patreon to provide the advanced analytics and insights for paid members, which would help provide a supplemented income for future projects, including clothing apparel, concept design, graphic design and more.
