League Record So Far; 8 – 0 – 3
Both teams are one point apart in league standings at 2nd and 3rd respectively. A win for Devils would see them claim top spot and a win for Stars would see them leap frog the visitors into 2nd place.

Stars are currently the 2nd highest scorers in the league (42), however they do have one of the worst GA records so far at 45. Devils are currently sat in 2nd for least GA (21) whilst also having the leagues top goalie so far in Ben Bowns with a 94.10 SV% and 1.80 GAA after 11GP.
Dundee’s Ryan Valentini currently leads the league points scorers with 15, another Stars player, Spencer Naas slots into the top 5 with 14.
The teams each boast a 4 – 0 – 1 record in L5GP, with Stars recently having their streak snapped by Coventry Blaze, who leads them 3-0 so far in their regular series match up. A win for Devils, would extend their current run to 5 on the bounce, making it an official wagon.
Each Scottish team the Devils have faced so far this season have been defeated, with a 3-0 record, but this is the first meeting between the two this campaign. Devils command their dominant performances and results with x2 shutouts (Wall and Bowns, respectively) and a 18:2 differential on scoring.
Ones to Watch
It goes without saying Ryan Valentini is a player to keep an eye on, especially as Stars are at home. They have lost twice on home ice so far, against Panthers and Blaze.
For the Devils, Trevor Cox would be one to watch, as he has been on a heater, putting up 11 helpers this month and the last game, the famous line of Cox – Martin – Sanford combined pretty well.
